I know there was a cassette interface. But, were there any other "popular" Apple I peripherals available?
The reason I ask is that I am designing a SBC that hopes to have many things in common with the Apple I. I would like to claim compatibility with any card made for it but if there are only a couple or so, then I may not bother.
I imagine most cards were made by hobbyist?

Electronic Systems advertised in BYTE magazine both a motherboard (a 10-slot expansion daughterboard) and a serial board. We know that at least one motherboard was bought. But with so few sales of the Apple-1, it is hard to characterize anything as "popular".
The only accessory that Apple sold was the ACI. There were instructions in magazines on how to hook up a printer.
Rich Dreher's CFFA-1 card is worth having.
