"Microchess 2" vs ChatGPT model 4
Dear Friends,
Just for fun, in this hot summer let's indulge ourselves with this semi-automatic chess match between "Microchess 2" (Apple-1 version) versus ChatGPT model 4 (yes, the expensive version!).

You can find all the details and technicalities in the extensive description of the video!

A special appreciation to my friend Francesco Sblendorio, the SysOp of the BBS  bbs.retrocampus.com, for his support and cooperation!

Enjoy the video! :-)

Best Regards,

As far as I have been able to find, I think you are correct.  MicroChess 2 is really quite an accomplishment on an Apple-1 when you think about it.

Haha, a lot of fun.

Good to see 2k of raw programming can beat a datacenter-driven AI model.

Curious to know how much kWh this game costs at either side of the table ;-).
