Spent a few days putting together a fun project: Using P-Labs incredible Wifi Modem, you can now use the OpenAI API on the Apple 1.
1 - "Dream Generator": Calls the OpenAI Image Search API to generate 40x21 ASCII for the Apple 1. Now we have more to demo beyond the wonder mugs of Jobs and Woz.
2 - "Hello from Below": Talk to an AI entity which assumes the identity of someone directly below through earth, at your current (or IP) location Antipode.
To get access, simply connect to below.im at port 2600.
The "Logon" of course, is "joshua", but it also supports commands like "Help Logon," "Help games" & "List Games".
Let me know what you think! It's a work in progress, and admittedly I haven't been able to test it yet on my Apple 1 replica, or test at 600 Baud, due to an untimely and mysterious fried chip.Do send screens & feedback!
Best,

Wow! That's great!
Can't wait to have some time to test it!!!
Thank you!!! :-D
Thanks for the offline feedback Claudio! I've adjusted the code to work with CHAR mode, which should hopefully be more Apple 1 friendly.
There are also a few typing effects that i'm not sure how will play out at 600 Baud.
On a modern command line, the chatbot shows random errors as if someone is live typing, then erases the characters, but that gets disabled if you're typing in ALL CAPS.
