Newbie looking for a IIe joystick

Hello,

I'm really happy I have found this Apple II online community.

I've recently acquired an Apple IIe (non-enhanced) which I'm restoring.

Many of your posts are really helpful !

Would anyone know where I could find an Apple IIe compatible joystick?

eBay? There really aren't new

eBay?

There really aren't new ones being made in any kind of quantity that I know of.

Try the Market Place...

Try reposting your note in the Forums/MarketPlace/Wanted to Buy section.

Also, they show up on Ebay

Other solutions are adapt a PC Joystick or build your own.

I've done both!

PC Joysticks are readily available, and an adapter is an extremely simple project: http://www.apple2faq.com/knowledgebase/pc-apple-ii-joystick-adapter/

If you're feeling really enthusiastic, you can build your own from scratch: http://quinndunki.com/blondihacks/?p=2225

I documented the former here . I appear to not have documented building the joystick, but it is a better solution. Just follow Quinn's guide.

Cheers!
