OS9 Editor and C-compiler

Greetings,

Now that I have built up and have my 6809 Co-processor running,I'd be grateful if anyone can point me where to obtain the EDIT and C-Compiler software for Apple II OS9.The OS9 images from the Asimov archive are missing those parts. I assume it was not in the original distro.

I'd also appreciate suggestions how to transfer software to and from OS9 system.I'm aware of Luca's github page descibing the Os9-Conv_Tool.Perhaps someone has made efforts to do this. Thanks in advance.

I like the Freed 6809 and

I like the Freed 6809 and always wanted one of those Stellation Two "Mill" cards it is based on.   The FPGA and some other issues with the Freed design have kept me from trying to build one.

True, programming the CPLD is

True, programming the CPLD is an obsticle for DIY builders. In some cases may perhaps be an issue regarding open-source or open-hardware license. Be aware that some of these CPLDs are no longer manufactured and may take some effort to obtain. Am no expert, but can try program some Xilinx and Altera parts for you. Regarding the Freed 6809 card. It works nice, a lot slower than the Z80 card as it has no on-board memory and are limited by the Apple memory barrier. If you look at the PCB, note there are some R/C delays on the Ph0 and Q3 lines to fine-tune timing. I have a suspicion it may need adjustment depending on platform. In my case, am using a IIe Platinum system.  It often need a few attempts to boot successfully, but once it run, will run all-day long without issues. Cheers.
