Dead Quicksilver G4

Recently, I had a power surge at my house. The one mistake I made was not plugging my G4 into a power-surge protector. Now when I try to boot up the computer, the light turns on but the computer does not boot! HELP ME!

Before you take it to be repaired, try resetting the motherboard with the CUDA switch. It is a small red (sometimes grey) push button switch on the board. Press and hold it for a few seconds, then try powering up.

This has helped me a few times (but not everytime) for a surged computer, especially if the light turns on...

No problem... it's always easier to do it yourself, rather than pay out the rear to have someone else do it.

I know, I'm a Mac tech and it can get expensive for people.
