In search of a couple beta testers for a new ROMX product. Must have at least one Apple II (plus) clone - specifically those with the same chip spacing between the D0 ROM and LS138 (locations F11 to F12 = 0.25" or 6.35mm pin to pin). DM me with a list of your machines and what other boards are inside. Must be in US and have a few weeks to thoroughly test. If you already have a ROMX Text ROM that's a plus!

I have several genuine Apple ][+ and several clones, however some of the clones either use a different ROM layout, like 2732 instead of 2716 or the spacing is different like the Franklin, but I do have at least one that has the same spacing as a real ][+ board.
Thanks. I think it will work even with the 2732 motherboards but it would be nice to verify. DM me your address and I'll send you one.
One of my setups is a "pure clone" that is, a clone motherboard and clone cards for everything.
Basically everything in that machine is a knockoff - 16K card, disk controller, super serial clone, parallel card, videx clone, etc...
The motherboard is a well known 100% clone - the Unitron. So it has the right spacing, I think.
If that suits your needs I can be a guinea pig...
Thanks to all. I have enough testers now.
